Dandara Living are committed to complying with all relevant environmental legislation in every aspect of our company and strive to meet best practice in non-regulated areas. We achieve this through setting objectives to improve environmental performance. All Directors and Heads of Department are responsible for compliance with the company’s principles on the environment.

Dandara Living:

• Operates and communicates the environmental related policies.
• Manages our activities to mitigate and reduce pollution and the effect of pollution on our surrounding environment.
• Reduces waste being sent to landfill by the effective use of the waste hierarchy processes where possible.
• Where possible, improves environmental efficiency and sustainability by the effective management of our sites, buildings, equipment, consumables and vehicles.
• Works with the supply chain in regard to environmental initiatives to reduce our environmental impact.
• Carries out regular monitoring to ensure the effective implementation of our Environmental Policy.
• Ensures that the organisation strives for continuous improvement in its environmental performance.
• Ensures that our workforce has the appropriate skills, knowledge and training to understand the importance of Dandara’s environmental impact and objectives.

This policy has been communicated to all staff in the organisation and our supply chain. It is periodically reviewed and updated as necessary.
