“When we were approached by HWBidCo to support the Christmas Lights Festival, we were very happy to help. This wonderful festive event offered a great opportunity to work closely with the High Wycombe community and contribute to the local area. “The food bank currently provides emergency food parcels to 650 people per week across South Bucks. In addition, the charity has a Community Support team that signposts clients to further support, runs client toddler groups and a clothes bank for anyone who is finding it hard to make ends meet. In addition, the Food Programmes team offers cookery lessons as well as supper clubs and a new programme whereby children who don’t qualify for free school meals but are living poverty, are able to benefit from a free breakfast or lunch at school."
